• Heather's experience at Youthsurge

  This week, from Monday the 26th to Friday the 30th of May, I worked at the Youthsurge Office. I wasn't really sure what to expect so i turned up hoping I was ready for anything.
  
  I mainly worked on the up coming Launch Camp training booklet for Launch Camp, in Queensland. I even got to keep a copy to go into my work portfolio for future reference. I went with Luke to two scripture classes on Wednesday.
  
  At the first class the kids were a lot like the scripture class I go to. It was weird seeing year 6 kids acting the same in scripture class as year 10 kids. The second school I went to was very formal.The kids in this class asked and answered questions in complicated sentences.
  
  This week I learnt that Youth Ministry isn't all what you see when you go to the events, but there is a lot of hard work and mistakes to fix before you can even say you're done and ready to go. To sum it up it was a great week.
