No, Youthsurge is an independent organisation that receives no funding from Youthworks or Sydney Anglican Diocese (or any other denomination).

The confusion often comes because Youthsurge was founded by Ken Moser while he was a part-time consultant with Youthworks.

There is however a close relationship with Youthworks with some of their staff being involved in Youthsurge events from time to time.
